A family ticket (two adults plus two children or students) is 13,000 HUF. Children under three are free. Food and drink are extra. Tickets give access to all facilities the entire day. Near the Formula 1 Hungaroring Racetrack of Hungary, this waterpark has gigantic slides, pools, Jacuzzis, waterfalls and artificial rivers. The Vacond csúszdák (the Mole Chutes) wind and twist, and in one section toward the end, for a brief few seconds you glide underground, only to emerge in a big splash at the bottom! The Blue Cave Pool (Kék Barlang) is always a hit.
Büfés, souvenirs and a delightful children’s pool with toys fill out a day or more. Shade is sparse, so make sure everyone is lotioned down, and bring some hats and T-shirts. Fixed umbrellas are sparse and it’s a matter of luck if you get one.
